Mohammad Reza Taban was born in Isfahan, Iran, in 1968. He received the B.Sc. degree in 1991 from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), Isfahan, Iran, the M.Sc. degree in 1993 from Tarbiat Modarres University, Tehran, Iran, and the Ph.D. degree in 1998 from Isfahan University of Technology, all in Electrical Engineering. He joined the Yazd University faculty, Yazd, Iran, in 1999. Since 2015, he had been a faculty member of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran, and he was promoted to professor in 2016. His main research interests are statistical signal processing, detection, and estimation. He has been in the scientific committee of the 10th international ISC conference (ISCISC2013) and the 2nd Iranian Conference on Avionics System (ICAS2015). Dr. Taban has published more than 74 technical papers in international and national journals and conferences. He has been elevated to the grade of Senior member of IEEE since 2013.
